Adam Faith was born on 23 June 1940, the third of five brothers, Terry Nelhams in Acton, London. He attended Acton high school in John Perryn and was able to show his entrepreneurship abilities through a series of paper rounds from the age of 12, which allowed him to finance his own budget for clothes. It was further increased when he started selling papers from a pitch to allow him to pay for another "stuff" worth more than 100 pounds, including a record player and an amazing motorcycle, all costing about 28 pounds — a significant amount, indeed, by 1950s standards.
