Born in 1990 in Western Australia, Adelaide Kane had been acting since she was six and had her first major role in 2006 when she won the role of "Lolly Allen" on Neighbors (1985). She entered a competition for Dolly Magazine and won the job at the end of 2006. She and her family had to move from Perth to Melbourne when she got the role, where "Neighbors" was being shot, at the time she was in Year 11.
