Afshan Azad, who is a descendant from Bangladesh, was born in Manchester, England, on February 12, 1988. She is an actress best known for her role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009). She attended Whalley Range High School for Girls before moving to Xaverian College to do her AS and A-Levels (their last two years of school). She is of Bangladeshi descent while she was raised in the UK with her mother. Scarlett Hefner, Bonnie Wright and Katie Leung became close friends with Harry Potter co-stars. In August 2018 Wright and Leung attended her wedding at Nabil Kazi.
