Aisling Franciosi, known for The Collapse (2013), Game of Thrones (2011), and The Nightingale (2018), is an Irish-Italian actress. She was born in Dublin in 1993, moved to Italy shortly afterwards with her family, then returned to Ireland with her mother 4 years later. As a child, she attended acting lessons and attended Trinity College Dublin, where she learned French and Spanish.Her father has Italian ancestry and her mother has Irish heritage. She was born in Italian and English, all bilingual. She attended Dublin's Trinity School, and read French and Spanish. She speaks four languages: Italian, French, English and Spanish. Her family was raised in Dublin, and shortly after moved to Italy. Since splitting her parents she returned to Ireland with her mother and brother.
