Alfonso was born to Morgan Freeman and Loletha Adkins (Polk) at County General Hospital in Los Angeles, 13 September 1959, and grew up in Compton, California. He was briefly an Art Student at Cal State University-Long Beach. Not until 1984, when he arrived in L.A., did Alfonso meet his famous father in person. To film The Atlanta Child Murders (1985) mini series on TV. On a phone call in 1979, they had their first chat, when Alfonso was working as a telemarketer. In 1982 Alfonso first married and fathered three daughters. He split in 1989, from his first partner, Cynthia. In 1994 he remarried to Young Larcenia (pronounced LAR-SEEN-YA).
