Alice Faye was an American actress and singer She sang "You'll Never Know", which won its writers the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 1944 Oscars service. Faye presented the tune in the melodic film Hello, Frisco, Hello (1943). Faye was hitched twice and had two girls. She wedded entertainer and vocalist Tony Martin in 1937, and they separated in 1940. She wedded on-screen character Phil Harris in 1941, an association which went on until his demise in 1995.
