Andy Lau Tak-wah BBS MH JP(born 27 September 1961) is an actress, vocalist, lyricist and film producer from Hong Kong. Since the mid-1980s, he is one of the most commercially active film actors in Hong Kong, appearing in more than 160 films and at the same time sustaining a strong vocal career. In the 1990s, Lau was named as one of Cantopop's Four Heavenly Kings by the media.Lau was nominated for the "Most Awards Won by a Cantopop Male Singer" Guinness World Records. He had also won an impressive total of 292 awards by April 2000.Lau still wins several movie acting awards, three times winning the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actress and twice winning the Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actor.
