Angus' family comes from Ireland, where most are still based. Originally from Oakland, California, Angus Cloud was in the School of Production Design at the Oakland School for the Arts. While working in a restaurant near the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, Angus was recruited by Euphoria casting director Jennifer Venditti, whom he initially accused to trick him.Angus had initially intended to travel with his family to Ireland before being cast. Angus claimed in an interview with WSJ that he is trying to develop his acting skills and that his goal is to become a voice-over artist on a cartoon.
