The American actress and singer Clara Lou Sheridan, professionally known as Ann Sheridan. Since 1934 until her death, she worked frequently, first on the film and then on Television.Ann Sheridan won the "Search for Beauty" competition, which included a screen test by Paramount. With a contract signed at 18, she was put under her real name Clara Lou Sheridan in a number of small roles. Her name has been changed to Ann because she progressed. In 1936, she went to the Warner Brothers after two dozen films, which made her the "Oomph Woman," a name she rejected-though she clearly looked at that aspect. She was allowed to develop into a leading star, the girl nearby or the hard-as-nails woman. She was interested in many comedies and in a variety of interesting films, but she loved the country.
