Ann Lennox OBE (born December 25, 1954) is a Scottish singer-songwriter, philanthropist and political activist. Since achieving modest popularity as part of the progressive wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and fellow singer Dave Stewart started to enjoy mainstream fame as Eurythmics in the 1980s. Appearing with orange cropp in the 1983 music video for "Good Dreams (Are Made of This)"In 1992, Lennox embarked on a solo career with her debut album, Diva, delivering several hit singles including "Why" and "Rolling on Broken Glass" She wrote the same year for Bram Stoker's Dracula, "Love Song for a Vampire." Her studio album in 1995, Medusa, features "No More I Love You" and "A Whiter Shade of Blue."
