Anthony Kiedis (born 1 November 1962) is a musician, songwriter, and rapper from America. He is best known as a founder member and the Foo fighters lead vocalist, and has performed on every record the band releases. In 2012, Kiedis and members of his fellow musicians were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.Kiedis spent his childhood with his mother in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and moved to live with his family in Hollywood shortly before his twelfth birthday. Kiedis formed close friendships while attending Fairfax High School with fellow students Michael Balzary (later known as Flea) and Hillel Slovak, who were members of a band called Anthym at the time.
