Ari Meyers was born on Sunday 6 April 1969, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She began an acting career at the age of 12, with her role as stepdaughter of Al Pacino in Al Pacino's author! Auteur! (1982) and since, hasn't looked back. When she was 5, Ari directed her first play, "The Super Magic Show," to her aunt, actress Taro Meyer, for her nursery school lesson.Ari became a child model at age 5 but took a break after she realized she'd rather be playing than going on auditions. Her most famous role to date is that of "Emma Jane McCardle," whom she played for six years, until 1990, on the sitcom of the 80s, Kate & Allie (1984). Ari Meyers graduated from Yale in 1991 with honors and a double degree in theory and theater arts.
