She started her career as a sister's backup dancer and appeared in television ads at the age of 15, the younger sister of Jessica Simpson.Ashlee Nicolle Simpson, a counselor and a Baptist Youth Minister, was born on 3 October 1984 in Waco, Texas. At the age of 4, Ashlee began to dance and was the youngest person ever accepted to the prestigious School of American Ballet when she was 11. When 14, Ashlee and her older sister, pop singer Jessica Simpson, were on the track for professional dances. 1999-2001 Ashlee spent the tour supporting and retrieving her sibling.
