How tall is Ben Foster?
Ben Foster was born in Boston, Massachusetts on 29 October 1980 to restaurant owners Gillian Kirwan and Steven Foster. His younger brother is actor Jon Foster. His paternal ancestors were from Jewish Russian families who emigrated to Massachusetts (his grandfather was a prominent judge in Boston), while his mother's heritage were from Maryland. His family had moved to Fairfield, Iowa, where he was born during his youth. Fairfield had four theatres in the city. His talent for acting was noticed early on, and having appeared in the title role in "You're a nice one, Charlie Brown," put on by one of the neighborhood theaters, he wrote, directed and appeared in his own play at the age of 12, a play that won second place in an international competition.
