How tall was Bob Monkhouse?
Robert Alan Monkhouse OBE was an English entertainer and comedian (June 1, 1928-December 29, 2003). He was well known as a game show host and tv presenters including The Golden Arrow, Celebrity Squares and Family Fortunes.Bob Monkhouse was educated in south London at the Goring Hall School in Worthing, Sussex, and Dulwich College, from which he was suspended for scaling the clock tower. Monkhouse wrote for The Beano and The Dandy while still in school, and illustrated for other comics such as Hotspur, Wizard and Adventure.He struck up a comic writing and art partnership with Dulwich schoolmate Denis Gifford and in the early 1950s the two founded their own publishing company. Monkhouse wrote more than 100 erotic novelettes from Harlem Hotspots, among others.
