Bonnie Tyler is a singer from Welsh, known for its husky sound. With its album The World Starts Tonight and songs "Lost in Paris" and "More Than a Friend" Tyler became a prominent figure in 1977. In the 80s, with songwriter and producer Jim Steinman Tyler entered into rock music. He was the lead singer of his 1983 UK chart topping album Faster Than the Speed of Night, Tyler's greatest hit, "Total Eclipse of the Heart." Steinman also wrote Tyler's hit "Holding out for a Hero" in the other major 1980s. In the 1990s, she succeeded with Dieter Bohlen who wrote and produced her hit "Bitterblue" in continental Europe.
