American actor Brian Edward Benben was born in Winchester, Virginia, on 18 June 1956 to Gloria Patricia (Coffman) and Peter Michael Benben, Sr., a distributor of the plant. His ancestors were German paternals. He began performing in off-off-Broadway plays in New York at the age of 17.
