Brian Francis Johnson (born 5 October 1947) is a songwriter and English musician. After Bon Scott's death he was the second lead singer of Australian rock band AC / DC in 1980. In 2003, he and the members of the band were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He went off performing on the Rock or Bust World Tour in March 2016 because of hearing problems. In an interview he confirmed that he "had a pretty good time" in AC / DC and suggested that he would not be coming back. Johnson was one of the founder members of the Newcastle-based rock band Geordie formed in 1971. The band broke up in 1978, following a few hit songs, including UK Top 10 "All Because of You" (1973).
