Brian Molko (born 10 December 1972) is a British-American musician and songwriter who is the Placebo band's lead vocalist and guitarist. He is particularly known for his distinctive nasal voice, high-pitched, feminine / androgynous sound, offensive guitar style, and unusual tunings.Molko was born to an American father of Italian descent, and a Scottish mother in Brussels, Belgium. He has an older brother named Stuart.During his youth, Molko's family moved frequently; the family lived in Dundee, Liberia, Lebanon, Belgium's village of Longeau, until eventually settling in Sandweiler, Luxembourg.
