Brian Shaw (born 26 February 1982) is an American professional strongman athlete and winner of World's Strongest Man competitions 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2016. Shaw is also the first man to have won the Arnold Strongman Classic and the World's Strongest Man competition in the same calendar year, a feat he achieved in 2011 and then repeated in 2015.Shaw was born in Fort Lupton, Colorado,[6] the son of Jay and Bonnie Shaw. His parents were both taller than average; his father was at 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m) and his mother was at 5 ft 11 in (1.80 m). He had uncles of exceptional stature, was noted.
