Brittany Daniel took on Jessica Wakefield's part on Sweet Valley High (1994). Jessica is the SVH Star Cheerleader, she's snobbish and conniving, just doing what she wants. In reality, Brittany was more like Elizabeth Wakefield, the real-life character of her family, reading, good friends and one serious boyfriend in her life was how she spent her teen years. On March 19, 2014, she revealed that in the summer of 2011 after back pain, night sweats and flu-like symptoms she had been diagnosed with IV non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She has had surgery, and is free from cancer. (July 29, 2017) On Saturday, at The Carondelet House in downtown Los Angeles, she married her longtime boyfriend Adam Touni to 150 of their closest friends and relatives after a 6-month-long engagement.
