How tall was Buddy Ebsen?

Buddy Ebsen begun his career as a dancer in a Broadway chorus in the late 1920's. He and his sister Vilma Ebsen later formed a vaudeville act, which also appeared on Broadway. In 1935 he and his sister went to Hollywood, where they were signed for the 1936 (1935) Broadway Melody, one of MGM's Eleanor Powell films. Though Vilma retired shortly after that from stage and film, Buddy starred with Powell in two more MGM movies. Frances Langford in Born to Dance (1936), and Judy Garland in Broadway Melody of 1938 (1937) were two of his performing partners.
