Callan started his career in the U.S. at the age of 15 when Rob Reiner picked him up in his adorable 2010 movie "Flipped" as the romantic lead "Bryce" Then he was cast as "Tom" in D.J. Caruso's "I Am Number Four" and as "Old Gatsby" in Baz Lurhman's "The Great Gatsby," which indicates that when seen from certain angles and under certain conditions, he is as stunning as Leonardo Dicaprio.In the much acclaimed independent movie "Beneath the Harvest Sky," he also played "Dominic," while he holds a public preference for the original title of the script, "Grey Potato."
