Cameron Arthur Mathison (born 25 August 1969)is an actress and television personality from Canada and the United States. He played the role of Ryan Lavery on All My Children from 1997 through 2011.He started working as a model after graduation from McGill and began to appear in advertisements in Canada, the U.S., and Europe. This lead to the initiation of acting classes and the launch of his performing career in Toronto.Mathison made his first feature film in 54. He followed up on this performance with a leading role in the experimental Canadian film Washed Up. He was hired around this date, December 1997, to play the role of Ryan Lavery on All My Children shooting his first scenes on December 15. Mathison appeared first on-screen in the episode on January 12, 1998.
