Camryn Elizabeth Grimes (born January 7, 1990) is an American actress.She played Cassie Newman on The Young and the Restless beginning in 1997. In 2000, at age 10, she turned into the most youthful victor ever of the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series; Kimberly McCullough had won the honor ten years sooner, at age 11. In May 2005, Grimes' character was discounted the show when she passed on from wounds supported in an auto collision. Since leaving the show, she has shown up as Cassie's soul. In 2014, she started another job on the arrangement, playing a lady with a likeness to Cassie, named Mariah Copeland, later uncovered to be Cassie's twin sister. It was declared on May 5, 2014, that Grimes was put on agreement with The Young and the Restless.
