Candice Rickelle Glover (born 22 November 1989) is an American R&B singer and actress who won American Idol. Glover's twelfth season and became the first winner to audition three times before being cast on live shows. On 18 February 2014, her debut album Music Speaks was released.The auditioned Glover in Raleigh, North Carolina. She had previously auditioned in the seasons 9 and 11. Simon Cowell said he did not see Glover as anything other than a nightclub singer in the ninth season and she was eliminated in the final 70 series. During the ninth season she was eliminated by producers after she misunderstood Adele's words for her album "Chasing Pavements."
