Carmen Elizabeth Ejogo was born to a Nigerian father and a Scottish mother, in Kensington, London, England. Her tv career started in the early 1990s in the United Kingdom when she hosted Saturday Disney (1990), the children's show. She later went on to have an acting career in the United States. She has appeared with Eddie Murphy in Metro (1997), What's the Worst That Could Happen? (2001) with Martin Lawrence, and Love's Labour's Lost (2000) with Kenneth Branagh, among other films, as well as "The Carmen Ejogo Video Series"-her own video series on BSB's Power Station.
