How tall was Carol Lynley?
Blond, blue-eyed, Carol Lynley started her professional career as Carolyn Lee with an attractively feline look. At the age of seven, she studied dance, became a popular child model at the age of ten (eventually posing for New York's Sears & Roebuck department store) and had her image nationally known as the ' Coca-Cola Girl. 'Carol was born in New York City to Carole Ann Jones, to Frances Fuller (Felch), of New England, and to Cyril Roland Jones, who was an Irish immigrant. In an effort to break out into early acting, Carol learned that another person of that name (born seven years earlier) was already on Actors ' Equity books, so Carolyn adapted her surname of fusing the ' lyn ' and the ' lee ' to create ' Lynley '
