Hakeem Seriki (born November 28, 1979) is an American rapper, producer, and businessman from Houston, Texas, best known by his stage name Chamillionaire. In 2002, he launched his career independently with local releases, including the collaboration album Get Your Mind Right with fellow Houston rapper and Paul Wall, a childhood acquaintance. In 2005 he signed up to Universal Music and launched The Sound ofRevenge under Universal. This produced "Turn This On" hit singles featuring Lil' Flip and the number one, Grammy-winning hit "Ridin'" featuring Bone Krayzie of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. In 2007, Total Victory followed, noteworthy for not having any profanity. Chamillionaire is also known for his widely awaited show Mixtape Messiah, which aired from 2004 to 2009.
