Charlotte Ann Martin (born 31 October 1976) is an American singer-songwriter who primarily plays on the piano. She has recorded several studio albums, two of them receiving mainstream commercial releases, On Your Shore in 2004 and Stromata in 2006.She recorded an ambient piano album titled Piano Trees in 2009, before recording her new studio album Walking on Needles on February 1, 2011. She released a new studio album, Rain Breaks Rock, on February 25, 2014. She won the Miss Illinois Teen USA title in 1994 on June 26, 1994 and went on to compete in the Miss Teen USA pageant broadcast live from Biloxi, Mississippi on August 16. Martin graduated from the University of Eastern Illinois (EIU) in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in vocal performance
