Claire Richards was born as Claire Anne Richards on 17th August 1977 in Hillingdon, Middlesex, England. As of November 1, 2008, she has been married to Reece Hill. They have two kids. Prior to that she was married to Mark Webb.After Steps split in December 2001, she went on to form a duo with fellow ex-Steps bandmate, Ian 'H' Watkins, to record under the name "H & Claire". They launched in early 2002 and achieved three Top Ten single releases in the UK, before being dropped by their record label due to low CD sales.
