November 30, 1957) is a Scottish-born Canadian actor, novelist, director and improvisational comedian, best known for his roles on the British and American versions of Whose Line Is It Anyway improvisational TV show?With the Vancouver TheatreSports League and the Second City Theater in Toronto, Mochrie honed his comedic talents. He has starred in hundreds of TV series, plays, and stage shows. Mochrie co-wrote, co-produced,and co-starred with his friend, comedian Debra McGrath in Getting Along Family and She's the Mayor.
