Her album She's So Special (1983) was a female artist's first debut album to score four top five singles on the Billboard Hot 100—"Girls Only Want to Have Fun," "Time After Time," "She Bop "and" All Through the Night "— and Lauper won the Best New Artis award at the 27th Grammy Awards in 1985. Her popularity began with the movie image soundtrack The Goonies and her second album True Colors (1986). This album included "True Colors," number one single, and "Change of Heart," which peaked at number three.
