Nixon, Jr., a Radio Journalist, was born in New York City on April 9, 1966. She has ancestry of German and English. In Little Darlings (1980), Nixon made an unforgettable film debut. She was able to appear in both "Hurlyburly" and "The Real thing" and she was given the "Ballyhoo's last hour," "Indiscretions," and "Angels of America." The honors on Broadway included "The Girls." She has received a Theatre World Award, a L.A. Drama Critics Award and a Tony Award. She is also a founding member of the theater company Drama Dept., based in New York.
