In Perth, Western Australia, Dacre was born in 1994. His mother is Canadian-Australian and his dad is a New Zealander. At his birth he spent several hours in movie theatres, where he developed a love of art, both of his parents were in the film industry.He was the first person to be an extra in a short movie at the age of 10 and decided he would continue his career as a director. At the age of 12, he began an integral acting class with a local training school and also with a theatre, often working in advanced classes where, along with young adults, he was exposed to work and training.
