David Michael Navarro (born 7 June 1967) is an American guitarist, rapper, songwriter, actor and presenter. Navarro is a member of Jane's Addiction (four studio albums) alternative rock band, and a former member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (one album). He has also released a solo album entitled Trust No One (2001).Navarro was also a member of the spin-off bands of Jane's Addiction, Deconstruction and The Panic Network. Greg Prato of AllMusic described him as "one of the first true guitar heroes of alternative rock," with an eclectic style of playing that incorporates heavy metal, psychedelia and punk rock.
