Daniele Diggs Daveed is an actress, musician, author, writer and rapper. He's the groundbreaking hip hop party vocalist Clipping. Diggs originated the part of the Marquis de Lafayette / Thomas Jefferson in Lin-Manuel Miranda's 2015 musical Hamilton, and received a Grammy and Tony for it. Daveed graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts from Brown University in 2004. He is of African-American origin (father) and Russian Jewish origin (mother).
