He is an actor and director famous for his films: Star Wars: Episode IV-A New Hope (1977), Star Wars: Episode VI-Return of Jedi (1983).Due to the misplaced names in Star Wars credits, some disputes arose whether Wedge was played by the same actor in Star Wars: episode V— The Empire Strikes Back (1980). He's the same actor, in fact. In 1984 (season 1983), he was named Best Actor in a Musical for Mr. Cinders and won the Laurence Olivier Theater award.
