Dennis Dun was born as Dennis Gong Dun on 19 April 1952, in Stockton, California, USA. He is known in Little China for his role on Big Trouble (1986), Prince of Darkness (1987) and Year of the Dragon (1985). He had never done any martial arts training previous to filming Big Trouble In Little China (1986). Earned a 1994 LA Weekly Theater Award for Ensemble Performance (with Noel Alumit, Anthony David and Chris Tashima) at the Celebration Theatre in West Hollywood, CA, for "A Script of Their Own"
