Devin Star Tailes (born 2 July 1989) is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, model and radio host, best known as Dev (sometimes stylized as DEV or dj). When her friend Shane Crislip shared her singing she was noticed by the record company, Indie-Pop, and The Cataracs via Myspace.Dev was signed in October 2010 with Universal Republic and released her debut single "Bass Down Low" on November 16, 2010 which entered the top 10 in the UK. She released her debut album The Night the Sun Came Up on March 27, 2012.
