Dia Frampton (born October 2, 1987) is an American singer-songwriter and the band Meg & Dia's lead guitarist. She was the runner-up on The Voice's inaugural season. Until beginning her solo career, she was also the lead singer in her band, ARCHIS.Dia Frampton attended Dixie High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, in St. George, Utah and Shadow Ridge High School. Dia graduated early in her senior year by homeschooling and completing high school at the same time. Dia and her sister then relocated to Salt Lake City to start their music career. She cites as influences Modest Mouse, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Joni Mitchell, The Avett Sisters, Rocky Votolato, Ben Folds, Etta James, Death Cab for Cutie, and Cranberries.
