Diane Franklin is an influential American movie actress from the 80's, known for her dark curly hair and accent. At the age of ten, Diane started her acting career with modelling, theatre, advertisements and work on soap operas. Then she won the lead role of the fantasy girl, Karen, in the horror film THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN (1982) and shortly after she played Patricia Montelli in AMITYVILLE II: THE POSSESSION. Her film break-out role was Monique Junot, a British-exchange student from the off-beat sitcom BETTER OFF DEAD. Her most notable commercial performance was playing the classic comedy, BILL & TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, the medieval Princess-babe, Joanna, from the 1980's.
