Signed on as a starlet of the Warner Brothers, bouncy, blonde-coiffed Diane McBain will grow a budding career on film and television as a glamorous 60s "bad girl" and "spoiled rich girl" sort. Raised in Cleveland, Ohio on May 18, 1941, the family moved to California when they were still young and she started things off in print and radio advertising as a "sweet 16" model.After a busy apprenticeship on numerous television shows, in 1960 (age 19) Diane made her first big splash with a prominent role in Ice Palace (1960), co-starring Richard Burton, Carolyn Jones and Martha Hyer. Brimming with grace and trust, as Warner's response to Carroll Baker, Diane was soon inserted into other films, winning roles in two consecutive soapers.
