Dinah Sheridan was a seven decades old British actress. Her best-known movies were Genevieve and The Railway Children, BBC's long-lasting comedy series Don't Wait Up and London's West End theater career. The quintessence of English rose was known to be Dinah Sheridan. She captured the heart of war-torn Britain after WWII with a warmth, grace and quiet charm that never existed. Her Russian father and German mother were members of the Royal Family, both of them King and Princess, who was born Dinah Nadyejda Ginsburg in 1920, Hampstead. The first stage role for Dinah was at 12 years of age and then she toured as "Wendy" with Charles Laughton in "Peter Pan" as Captain Hook and Elsa Lanchester as the heroine in the title.
