Edmond O'Brien (September 10, 1915 – May 9, 1985) was an American entertainer who showed up in excess of 100 movies from the 1940s to the 1970s, frequently playing character parts. He got the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and the comparing Golden Globe for his supporting job in The Barefoot Contessa (1954), just as a second Golden Globe and another Academy Award selection for Seven Days in May (1964).
