How tall is Elizabeth Banks?
Elizabeth Banks Elizabeth Mitchell was born on February 10, 1974 in Pittsfield, a small town in the Berkshires near the New York border. She's daughter of a bank-worker, Ann (Wallace), and factory worker, Mark P. Mitchell. Elizabeth describes herself, in her youth elected to the local harvest queen, as a "strong two-shoer." Banks went to college in Philadelphia, where Magna cum Laude graduated, then proceeded to study Advanced Trainings at the prestige-renowned San Francisco American Conservatory Theatre in 1996. Instead she went to New York and played in the theatre, and started to play minor roles in movies and on TV. She moved to Los Angeles to look for more screen work and was then offered job support. To order to prevent confusion with Elizabeth Mitchell, she also had to change her last name to Banks.
