New York City born Emory Cohen. He graduated from the Elisabeth Irwin High School and started performing in Philadelphia at UArts, earning a full scholarship. His first major role was to play Leo, son of the character of Julia Houston (pictured by Debra Messing) on NBC's Smash (2012). The troubled teen AJ in The Place Beyond the Pines (2012), starring alongside Bradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling, has featured his breakout roles. He played Casper in Beneath the Harvest Sky (2013), a faithful friend who gets himself mixed up in the illegal prescription drug trade in northern Maine.
