Enrique Javier Arce Temple (born 8 October 1972) is a Spanish film and television star. Arce was born October 8th 1972 in Valencia, Spain. He initially went to university to study law but wanted to switch into acting during his fourth year. He won "Ellos I Elles," a Valencian TV series on Canal Nou, and used the prize money of two million pesetas (about £10,000/$15,000) to pay for his studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His work grew in Spain and abroad. He was married to actress Cristina Peña and from 2005 to 2008 he lived with Gemma Mengual, an Olympic synchronized swimmer.
