Eric James McCormack (born April 18, 1963) is a Canadian-American actor and singer known for his role as Will Truman in the American sitcom Will & Grace, Grant MacLaren in Netflix's Travelers, and Dr. Daniel Pierce in Vision, an American crime drama.McCormack was born in Toronto and started performing in high school plays. In 1985, he left Ryerson University to take up a role with the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, where he spent five years acting in various productions on stage.
