In the worldwide hit show Fame (1982), Erica Gimpel burst into the scene as the legendary "Coco" ... She has starred in scores of feature films and TV shows since. She portrayed "Angel Gray" in the NBC Profiler series (1996), and starred in the Emmy Award-winning show ER (1994) as "Adele Newman" for six seasons. Her other television roles include the Golden Globe winning show House (2004), Criminal Minds (2005), recurring role in the Emmy Award-winning Boston Legal (2004), and recurrent role as Wallace's mother in the CW hit Veronica Mars (2004). Some of the favourites of Ms. Gimpel include Kissed by an Angel (1994) opposite Phylicia Rashad, JAG (1995), and Santa and Pete (1999) opposite James Earl Jones.
